Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software&Computer Services, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.69%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell 0.26% or 0.90 points to end at 350.70 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 0.66% or 4.00 points to 600.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 7.76% or 7.95 points to trade at 94.50 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 6.27% or 930.00 points to end at 13,900.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 6.23% or 945.00 points to 14,215.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 29 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.09% or 0.87 to $81.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.74% or 0.64 to hit $86.77 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1,935.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 101.67.
