Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Financial Services, Real Estate Development and Cement sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.82%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 9.95% or 3.65 points to trade at 40.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Jabal Omar Development Company (TADAWUL:4250) added 6.71% or 1.28 points to end at 20.36 and Gulf Insurance Group (TADAWUL:8250) was up 5.90% or 1.60 points to 28.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Arabian Drilling Co (TADAWUL:2381), which fell 4.49% or 6.40 points to trade at 136.00 at the close. The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) declined 3.34% or 3.30 points to end at 95.40 and Saudi Industrial Services Co. (TADAWUL:2190) was down 2.91% or 0.80 points to 26.70.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 172 to 81 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.95% or 3.65 to 40.35.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.94% or 2.01 to $66.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.99% or 2.23 to hit $72.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 3.68% or 70.70 to trade at $1,993.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.59% to 4.01, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 103.52.
