Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Energy&Utilities and Telecoms&IT sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.03%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203), which rose 5.27% or 34.60 points to trade at 691.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081) added 3.52% or 5.40 points to end at 159.00 and Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) was up 3.07% or 5.80 points to 195.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 5.56% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.17 at the close. Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:2282) declined 4.49% or 3.70 points to end at 78.70 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) was down 4.06% or 0.76 points to 17.98.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 163 to 101 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.94% or 0.71 to $76.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.82% or 0.65 to hit $80.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 7.15 to trade at $1,973.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.24% to 4.19, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.07% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 100.33.
